ruling so that he can be on the same side, but maybe he is also considering those independents and how they might feel, so he's not about to jump in with his opinion just yet. Another flip may not be to his favor.

Specifically, the scene where Cheech is looking for his cousin in the factory when it gets raided, ends up being interrogated by a cop in a cowboy hat, and answers the question "who's the president of the United States" with "that actor guy, John Wayne or something".
