(31,849 posts)I can't believe anyone calling themselves a Democrat, a liberal or a progressive, would even come to the conclusion that Don D. Con has even taken a coherent position on ... well ... any damned thing.
But then, again ... we had DUers, claiming to be Democrats, and liberals, and progressives, praising Putin.

I believe that harsh sanctions against Iraqis made it impossible for the Iraqis to take Saddam down themselves. Severe sanctions such as no medicine for the children of Iraq began under the Clinton Administration.

(53,778 posts)How is she to the right of Trump on anything when no one knows his position on anything?
Why not just say she positioned herself to the right of "the establishment", which seems to be what Sanders-ism you're going for?
It was a good general election speech aimed at discrediting her opponent but we still get anti-Hillary spin on it.
I mean let's be clear on who the enemy is now it's Trump, not Hillary, and not Sanders.

(36,055 posts)I hold that, if Bernie loses the nomination, her presidency will be better than you imagine.
It's a poor party spirit that puts out so much Hillary hate around here.
We need not poison each other with fears that usually don't prove true in Democratic presidencies.
Democratic infighting is like blood for the GOP vampire, strengthening it while weakening us, the unwitting, fearful host.
Not good for long term political party strength.

vote for Sanders in the primary and if the DNC steals the nomination, write Sanders in, in the general.
your support for the real democratic candidate is greatly appreciated!

(36,055 posts)Now regime change is used -- as in Venezuela -- as an oligarchic trade strategy.
Hillary won't second guess Pentagon advice. All the stuff we hate about our military dominance is not her invention, but the Pentagon's and previous New American Century designers.
If I have to live with her as commander-in-chief, I'll logically expect her to get plenty of good advice from Obama and other allied leaders.
You needn't keep up the level of distrust that kept this primary heated. Just sayin.'
I know Hillary's not my friend. But I still believe I don't have to see her as my enemy, either.
