(Or was it really hot there?). You both look great ... from the back. It's my favorite way to be photographed (unless the posterior is in the picture).
I hope you enjoyed seeing the president give his speech in person.

(9,681 posts)awful! 97* by my thermometer. But everyone was super tolerant and nice. They were giving away free water and random people were helping pass it out randomly (lol)

(47,992 posts)your community of the heart, finding that there are people who authentically care for one another, is pretty overwhelming. She was probably pretty used to just soldiering-on, so I'd bet Stephanie Miller didn't mean to cry when she met President Obama, but truths are, by definition, un-deniable.

Too bad it's only for two terms.....

(28,349 posts)I'm emotional. I love my president. I cry & he's not even around. Imagine what a basket case I'd be if he were.
For all the nasty noise the teabaggers make, the silent tears & hugs speak louder.
America HEARTS their president.

(13,776 posts)I love that slogan--Obamacares--and I hope the campaign sees EarlG's picture and does something with that phrase.

(466 posts)Has he even done that before?
I do believe he handed a woman a 20 dollar bill once, when she told Romney she was falling on hard times. LOL, I mean, how compassionate of him. More insulting, actually.
