'white elevators' are a thing at the Q.

They were more careful about it though. The mall is probably a mile long, so it's no wonder people can get lost and forget where they parked. If you go out the wrong door, you might have to hike a REALLY long way to your car.

So each entrance is themed with a color and an animal to subtly reinforce to shoppers to remember which door they parked near. When the automatic doors open, a bit of jazzy music plays, followed by a recording of a mellow woman saying "You are passing through...the white seahorse entrance." This is followed by a very enthusiastic man in Spanish repeating "USTEDESTAPASANDOPORLAENTRADA...White Seahorse!"

It's unfortunate the place in the photo didn't also use sea creatures to prevent an unfortunate historical faux-pas. Or just avoid using black or white as colors in their sectioning scheme.
