(164 posts)Hi,
Scott Adam's analysis of Trump's persuading powers is on the money.
This is comforting to me, as I would avoid Trump (or anyone like him) in a personal business deal and I would never vote him into power. I wouldn't touch Trump with a bargepole.
There are plenty of other business leaders and politicians out there who can do a better job in a better way.

(36,827 posts)Scott Adams is claiming Trump is using mind control which is ridiculous. He's been claiming for months Trump is using "brilliant" mind control techniques to persuade people. You don't need to persuade people who are already persuaded. There's nothing brilliant about demagoguery. Even idiots like Palin can pull it off while high as a kite.

(11,990 posts)He is very good at making Trump seem less frightening.
He says he's not an advocate for Trump, but clearly, he is. He comes right out and tells you that he himself is well versed in the art of persuasion, and he also explains that he does not see dishonesty as a deal killer. So it seems clear to me that he is a Trump supporter, and is simply using a tool of persuasion, i.e. he knows that his message will be better received if he tells you that he is not actually a supporter.
