(5,902 posts)These great ladies were a little before my time; but as a thirty-something I can tell you that - Coldplay excluded - good music practically died with the boy bands of the late '90s and early aughts.

It's why I usually listen to http://www.sing-sing-bis.org/results.php?kbps=Infinity Player is in the thought ballon at the top right, "haut debit" is for broadband. They play it all, pretty much, Cab Calloway to hiphop and all stops in between.

Today I think we aren't, and the music, while good, reflects that. And I miss it. Or maybe it is just like you said, the quantity.

This WAS 60s music, in all of its glory.
Gen Xers and Millennials, you were born too late.
Sad that you'll never have the foot-tapping thrill of hearing this on the RADIO for the first time.
