Talk about a real President recognizing real progressive political change and acting on it to make sure it continues. The President is so many light years ahead of most people in Politics.

We need to get people motivated for those local elections. That's where real change happens.

Bernie supporters warned everyone that all the polls show him beating Trump by a much higher margin than Clinton. The reason is hate radio etc has been calling for listeners to hate Clinton for 25yrs now, and all the debunked and discredited baggage she carries has produced a lot of hatred toward her. One could say this election is based on who is hated most in some respect. Sanders had no history of hate and no baggage of contempt and I feel he would have been an easier candidate to get elected. But Clinton is what we got and so we must work twice as hard to get a democrat elected. I hope she gets ahead of those quarter million dollar speeches she gave to Wall street firms etc by mocking them for offering so much to hear her speak and say "Of course I felt I was worth it and since they have so much money to throw around why not...but it doesn't influence my perspective in their favor because I stand for the people"...or something to that effect.
A big mistake is to ignore any Clinton negativity 'cause you just don't want to hear it. It's like the emails...it's just not that big of a deal...no real harm was ever done no matter how much repubs like to pretend.. Know her and know there really is no deal breaker...then push her left and demand she stand with the American people over Wall street and the Big banks like Goldman-Sachs

as I've stated before, many voters, independents, did not get to vote in the primaries.
OK, you say, that's the rules. Fine.
Yet, these voters backed Bernie, mostly.
Now, they are unsure of Hillary.
If Bernie's positions are acknowledged. Better...

The biggest party in the US is not the Republicans or the Dems; it's the Independents. They are who will swing the election. They are why Bernie would have had an easier time beating Trump.

But we as Dems need to focus on this group of voters among our friends, etc. and Hillary needs to make strong appeals to them also. Bernie can definitely help her there. The more I see her now, the more convinced I am that she has her heart in the right place now and will run a very good campaign.

Another thing to be concerned about is the voting machines. It's certain that they will be as usual tilted about 3% points toward the Repubs down the line and this will also affect the Trump/Hillary contest. Somebody somewhere among the Dems needs to demand, IN THIS ELECTION IN PARTICULAR, that the vote BE VERIFIED IN SOME WAY. The exit polls have to be made public early and not the "ADJUSTED" polls either but the "UNADJUSTED" EXIT POLLS. And this has to harped on constantly in leading up to the election.
