He is over the top with the Republicans. I can only mute just so much before getting really pissed off.

Reiner went full on Meathead and talked right over Santorum exactly the way he let Archie Bunker have it on the old show. Santorum didn't stand a chance of Gish Galloping his way through that show. He just sat there with a little plastic smile on his ugly face while I'm sure he contemplated how much it would cost to put out a contract on Reiner.

Even the conservative woman on the panel (don't know her name) put Santorum in his place as a minor intelligence and total dupe of a maniac leading a rabid mob. She's the type of conservative I've counted among friends.

the stench from Donald Trump will never come off of those oily, self-serving idiots who attach themselves to him. Santorum made a valiant effort to defend the orange lump, but when the camera caught him as others spoke, he had a sad pitiful demeanor. He knows. He says what he feels Repubs expect, but he knows that this is insanity, and I hope he never is able to transition to any position of leadership again. He is pathetic.

Rob Reiner takes on Rick Santorum! This PA liberal thanks you, Rob, and you, too, Bill. Obviously Rick is in denial and confused about "dog whistles," ("Bla---aah people "is pretty clear).

Screaming doesn't make it true,
but republicans constantly repeating a lie doesn't make it true either.
and sometimes you have to yell so that you can get a word in edgewise when the lairs are trying to run out the clock.

Geez! This idiot was a U.S. Senator?

He has a case of denial, big-time when it comes to Trump's weaknesses and the way he tries to argue that the same crap has been spewing from the Democratic side.

If brains were dynamite he wouldn't have enough to blow his nose.

Astounding, isn't it? I can't tell if they actually believe their own words anymore.

Santorum was such a loud-mouthed gay basher back in the day, that folks on the internet actually made his name popular as a rather disturbing, uh, act. One that isn't repeatable in polite company. Don't google it.

He's been worse than most when it comes to treating everyone fairly, yet somehow I can't shake the feeling that even *he* is uncomfortable with Trump at the top of the ticket. He was more of the traditional closed-minded politician, "quietly disparage them with an indoor voice", and I don't think most of them were prepared for someone to do that with a megaphone. Trump really is the P.T. Barnum of US politics.

(Fun fact: PT Barnum was also a politician, I never knew! Guess I know what I'll be doing for the next hour or two.)

The black republican lady at least has a limit on who she will support.....though everytime I see a black republican I wonder what is wrong with them.

But Santorum? Trump could probably be caught red handed robbing a bank and Rick would rationalize it. Loyal like a dog and maybe not as smart as some dogs. His riff on the Supreme Court was laughable.

Some people do not know the state.gov system was not a classified system either and has proven to have been hacked.that means any e-mails that were e-mailed to Hillary was already exposed before they ever got to her server.I'm also wondering if other agency's are the ones for the most part that considered these e-mails classified and not the State Department.when this all started with the IG the State Department kept saying we do not consider those e-mails to be classified.look for the State Departments investigation coming soon that should clear this up.
