It's probably a good idea for all of us to see this occasionally. A good reminder of how brutal these weapons are.

In the 80s, my family lived near Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. I remember my step-father saying on numerous occasions that if there was a nuclear war we wouldn't suffer because he thought Wright Pat was high on the list of targets. I don't think people get that kind of thinking now days. Nuclear weapons are truly frightening and to hear Trump taking their usage so lightly is frightening as well.

About 24 Hiroshima's worth of nuclear tipped anti-aircraft missiles. With their range, if used, they would have likely exploded within the US. Going directly north, they might have made Canada. The Bomarc II missiles were decommissioned, I think when I was in 4th grade.

Such a clear-eyed and terrifying movie. Although the British "Threads" was even worse in its own way.
