Thom Hartmann answers the question, "Why won't Hillary talk about the issues?"

Republicans are the corporate party and control the media. 60-95% of Americans support positions on issues that the Democratic Party supports, Republicans oppose every one of them.

How Do We Hear Hillary's Stance On Issues If the Media Won't Cover Them?

don't realize that Hillary has been speaking out on the issues. And she's never been that far from Bernie, though she's even closer now.

If progressives think otherwise, Hartmann is part of the problem. He encouraged a lot of Hillary hate, and now he's trying to rein it in.

what mess is that or this that he has created, can anyone on this thread put up a link that shows Hartmann ranting and raving about Clinton and Sanders on the issues, when it came to the issues.

And how they / he then compared both of them on his show and his broadcast about what both of them have done in there political life.

I guess when someone likes one candidate over the other, they are what exactly, they have to clean up there mess--------really,

I guess when he went out of his way to say that he supported Sanders, that it's now time to attack him and his character-------------------really

And when he said that if Clinton got the nomination that he would vote for her and fight for her that some how that he has to clean up his mess-------------------really

Is this Democratic Underground?

Does everyone forget that he puts threads up on this site to inform the readers on the issues

people may not like or like what he says, but if someone is "slamming" someone then the facts are the facts, must hit a nerve----------he does not go into the issues with rose colored glasses on, and that is what I like about the man and his research into the facts.

was a listener of the Hartmann Show up until he started slamming Clinton. His opinions were biased during the primaries which did strike a nerve. But in the end, my candidate, Hillary R Clinton still prevailed. How do you like them apples ?

Still "not" a great "Fan". But I will vote for her, would you have voted for Bernie Sanders? That's the question!

What I don't understand is how a persons(s) can cross a "Union" picket line in 1971 and never come out and say they are sorry? Can you? Union members have a tendency to not forget these items, even though it happened many years ago, and the excuse of being young! Not buying it.

I like being a "Democratic Socialist", have been for over 65 years, its great having those the principles, caring about social programs, that were started under FDR, Francis Perkins, ect...and then came the attack from 1981-2016, and especially those years of 1992-1999.

I just don't " like " what the "DLC" and the "Third Way New Democrats" are and who they "represent , use to be called just the Third Way.

Have you read the book by Thomas Frank "Listen Liberals" very enlightening, brings back those days gone past and what is happening now as we speak or read.

Or how about "One Market Under God", by Thomas Frank, same thing, Hartmann uses them for research on his facts on everything and everybody--------------nice huh? I think so.

David Cay Johnston is another very good "investigative journalists" or how about my all time favorite "Investigative journalists" Donald Steele and William Barrett and all of there books which just outstanding, here's just one book "The Betrayal of the American Dream"---------Hartmann uses that as references of his facts.

http://www.barlettandsteele.com/books/index.php

And as for apples, I like Braeburn nice and sweet have a hint of ginger, and you know what, they don't have a hint of remorse in them.

I like Thom Hartmann, his facts are facts, that's what nice about listening to him, he tells it like it is, he compares the apples to the apples and which one are sour to the taste

However, I listen to Thom almost every day, and I've never heard him "disparage" Hillary. Even when he was supporting Bernie wholeheartedly, he would always add that Hillary would make a fine President, and that he also supports her.

On Edit: I might add that it was Bill Press who became unbearable with his distaste for Hillary. IMHO, of course.

Hartman is not the problem, the record(s) on the issues were the problem and what each candidate has said and done in there years of office, that is a political fact.

Hartman has said from the very beginning of this election cycle, that he supported Sanders, and he also has said on numerous occasions that if Sanders did not, and I repeat did not get the nomination that he would vote for Clinton.

I really do believe that Hartmann is due an apology, he has been more forth coming about this election than other so called broadcasters, and he "does" in my opinion present those "facts", even if those voters /listeners didn't like what he said--------------facts are facts, and the records are the records

Thankfully Trump is crazy enough so the Dems can overcome this but it needs to change.

I don't know how many times I've looked at some cable news program and turned away after a few minutes because of the empty crap they show.

He talking like Bernie, is all he does! We all know where Hillary
and the Dem's stands.

Hillary will make clear her issues when she has a debate:
and when American's other than progressive are watching.

How damn difficult is it for people to find out where she stands on the issues.

Just google Hillary Clinton on the issues. Or go to her web site.

Sometimes (well, often times) I just don't get people.

It's like the Cleveland Cavaliers win the NBA championship. And a month later everyone going 'Who won the NBA championship?' 'I don't know!' 'Some are saying we all don't know.' 'Okay, so I guess well never know.' 'Did the Spurs win the NBA championship?' 'Could be. We just don't know.' 'If the Cavs won the championship why the heck aren't they telling everyone?' 'They must not have won. We'd all know if they did.' 'They must be hiding something.' 'For sure!'
