This guy is intelligent and articulate and raises good points. He deserves to be listened to, not interpreted by a bunch of white guys with their own agendas.

The NFL makes it's money selling patriotism as a product and they are unlikely unhappy with this. Shoot, ThinkProgress has an article up on how the defense department paid the NFL a little over 6 mil from 2012-2015 for patriotic displays and military tributes.

Many people are quick to forget that when it comes to the Pledge and the National Anthem, we don't have to participate. It is our right as Americans NOT to.

I wonder if the angerbears yelling and screaming about this realize they are just drawing more attention to his cause...

I remember the very first time I saw someone burn the American flag and I was disgusted. But that was part of the freedom of speech, so says the SCOTUS. And so is this guy's right not to stand and place his hand over his heart.

I don't know this guy, I'm not into football, but he feels strongly about it and as (I believe his boss said) he didn't kill anybody, so.

He is no longer the starting quarterback for the niners, and no other NFL team wants him. I believe that's the real reason Kap didnt stand his lazy ass up for the Anthem. Just my opinion
