They think everyone will get a pony if they could wave a magic wand and make government go away.

They think that eliminating one specific power structure (ie gov - which is supposed to support and be supported by the people) would level the playing field. As if there would never be other power structures that would rise up in the absence of any opposition.
They remind me of someone sitting on a sofa all day smoking pot and ordering pizza - their whole worldview is one of isolated personal "kingdoms" that somehow are all self sustaining and independent w/o need of any other person or organization.
