I've been pretty stressed out lately. My contract at work is coming to a close and I'm worried about getting a new one somewhere else (due to the time of year) and saw this and it really made me happy.

Have you read the Chet and Bernie books by Spencer Quinn? Bernie is a human, a PI and Chet is his wonderful mongrel dog who narrates them all. This video really made me think of them.

Met them and their owners while walking my dog and every single one of them is so awesome and friendly. My dog is really old, so I occasionally think what kind of dog I want to get when he and my elderly cats have passed. i worry about labs propensity for bone cancer, our golden lab mix died at age 8 with that and my friend has had 2 chocolate labs die between 7-9 with the same thing. Do all Labs have this issue? I really think the white labs are so beautiful, sweet snd funny but couldn't stand to lose one after only 7-9 years.

Breeding for conformity and to hell with genetic diseases.

Made me smile. His family loves him, and that's a double helping of happiness.
