She deserves a substantial bump. Maybe people need a little time to process or the polls haven't caught up yet.

She'll get a bump. No doubt. She came across very firm, but likeable last evening in her beatdown of the bully.

Go to FiveThirtyEight and see what happened to the trend about five days later than the 1st debate. It should be similar. Just matters who's left to convince and who might now be too ashamed to be associated with voting for Donald.

We'd all rather wake up November 9th to a blue America and a congress to help HRC with her goals.

Nothing else matters. Less than three weeks to accomplish that.

No doubt about it. However, I'm gobsmacked that it is that close. She ought to be out in front by double digits, and a change to win WELL into the 90's.

You are undoubtedly disconcerted by having a raving loon come this close to the Oval Office, but, as your northern neighbours and closest national analogue by far, we Canadians are no less appalled. I'd say +7 is easily +35 here, with few undecided. In fact, I can't recall talking to one person here that favours Drumpf.

Not one.
