I personally think that where they are made is rightfully the choice of the donor. And I even wonder if there are any manufacturers in the US set up to make them.

Having said that, someone should have foreseen that this would be a major distraction for politicians.

And I have nothing against berets. They don't look right here. Baseball caps, while appropriate, always look, ahem, "bargain." I kind of favor a classic golf cap. Very sporty.

Baseball caps are as American as you can get. Gold caps at a rakish angle would work too!
