For a deplorable racist like Sessions, the rebuke from the federal bench in Hawaii was about race as much as anything else.

I can remember when Hawaii became a state, yet he can't? Or maybe he doesn't want to believe it? Not going to make a comment about the South which might offend other DU'ers with brains unlike Sessions.

White, right-wing youths in the Deep South have never had much of an interest in what happens outside their particular region.

Unlike you and other normal people, Sessions obviously spent his teenage years in the late '50s and early '60s obsessing about the same thing so many others like him did in the Deep South: pushing back against Civil Rights.

Hell, they still do.
