Even Dubya could laugh at himself.

It was a well-attended funeral.

And bringing out the Big Guns was good.

Not surprised, they were more interested in the idea that certain people they expected to attend didn't.

Sage advice from the two most famous print reporters in my life, which has been rather long.

Bernstein praises Woodward; Woodward praises Bernstein. (Woodward got the most laughs.)

However, the two were giving the White House Correspondents a primer -- which would do no good without quotations from Ben Bradley -- on how to do reportage. As both described, it's a grind, with nose to the ground and a lot of fucking work.

The awards at the end are mere toppings on the lessons given to the White House Correspondents by this.
