Fortunately most seniors realize they are a risk and unfortunately the young love risk.

The reason, according to AAA, is due to their failing senses and overall health such as sight, hearing, restricted movement, etc as well as slower reflexes and reaction time. Fortunately most are smart enough to realize this and choose to not drive or limit/alter their driving. Also, most states require seniors to take driving tests one they reach a certain age.
