She is a comedian not a politician. She can do whatever she wants. By apologizing, she validates those conservatives that called her a violent liberal extremist. It is time that those on the left stop cowering to the conservatives.

Pedophile Nugent's STILL calling for Hillary to be hung, and that was AFTER Griffin did what she did.

National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent doubled-down on his call for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to be hanged for treason for the attack on a U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi.

During the May 31 edition of WBAP’s The Ben Ferguson Show, host Ben Ferguson asked Nugent about the comparisons being made between the picture of comedian Kathy Griffin holding Trump’s severed head, and inflammatory comments he made about former President Obama and Clinton. Nugent refused to acknowledge previous comments he made about Obama, but admitted he “recommended” Clinton to be hanged, calling her tenure as secretary of state “certainly treasonous.”

The left needs to start growing a backbone and fight for with fire. Being civil does not work against the right. They will just take advantage of anyone that shows weakness.

She says over and over in the video that she meant the apology, but she did it out of fear and she only says she meant it because it would give the trolls more talking points if she flip flopped so quickly.

I can't wait to hear what she says about this in a couple of months and years. It's going to be wicked.

Most people that were 'offended ' by it already hated liberals or they are weak liberals that always let the right wing win.

I cut her slack because she's a comedian. Comedians push the envelope all the time, so I can see how it's easy to go over the line w/o realizing there's a line there.

She lost her job @ CNN because CNN is under pressure from the far right and Trump for being "liberal" and anti-Trump. So if they kept Griffin on, it would add fuel to that fire.

I feel sorry for her. She just went too far in a job where going too far is part of the job. I hope her career recovers. Maybe given some time.

I totally get it, even though I initially misinterpreted the photo as a 'French Revolution' reference. Which, in retrospect, probably would have gotten her into more of a pickle.
