And spoken in the confines of this Democratic bastion, it sounds like a call to arms. Alas, we're such a minuscule slice of the populace pie that we'd be no more than a hair-thin line on a pie chart. I live on a private drive off of a dead end road - there's 8 same sized plots along the drive. I'd be willing to bet that no household here has EVER taken the time of the trouble to contact anyone in DC or our state capitol about anything. The apathy and the sense of surrender is thick enough to cut with a knife. I'd even go so far as to guess that this household was the ONLY one that cast votes for HRC. The other 7 either couldn't be bothered (even tho most of them certainly had the time to go vote) or voted against their own best interests. How do we invigorate such an apathetically charged army to action when all they wanna do is lie in the grass and idly look for 4-leaf clovers?

I speak with a lot of people, and since the Teapublicans in my neck of the woods are so outspoken, i decided i would be as well. I just need to start getting people's email and organizing for various protest, letter writing, and calling. My elderly mom and I started writing and calling for he first times in our lives.

We need to attack the root causes of the problem, money in politics and propaganda TV!

that still think it's 1950.

Hatch doesn't know where he is our what the topic is. It's time for all these old white guys to retire, or better yet have their asses voted out so they can be feed their daily gruel in the lavish retirement they will receive.

I hope Claire keeps turning the heat up on their nasty flabby white asses.

while Hatch was getting a grilling. Now if we just had a majority with her moxie. Hell, there's a number of US Democratic senators whose names I've NEVER heard thru the multiple terms they've served.

I wish I could speak as well as she does when I am furious at a given situation. Usually I can't come up with a decent statement for hours when I eventually calm down.

She's from a red state, knows full well what she's up against (also knows that "legitimate rape" saved her from certain defeat by a complete clown in 2012), and STILL has the guts to speak up when she feels she must.

Good for her. She told Hatch to "show me," and he showed her he had nothing.

Don't gloat. If Pence and Ryan somehow go down before three years and 5 months are up, this useless old white guy from Utah becomes president.
