(19,204 posts)Legos, small rocks.......any small, irregularly shaped object with sharp corners or edges.
Definitely more personal research needed before I'd spring for some of these. Are they cost prohibitive? Are they recyclable? All things I must consider before investing in them. My gut feeling tells me they're not cost effective for the amount of "pleasure" gained by wearing them. A good pair of water shoes might still be the best bet for an active person who dislikes shoes, but likes traversing the road not usually traveled.

(7,530 posts)As one who has often experienced hot concrete at the beach or the pool, these look like a great solution that can be applied at home and worn under shoes before you take them off.
I would guess they'd *help* with sharp gravel driveways, but you still probably need to use caution in a Lego situation.
Since they're just the bottom of the foot, they probably do not prevent picking up athlete's foot in the shower, but probably work great for slip resistance.
I can't say how many times I've walked to get my mail barefoot and there's that *one* tiny sharp rock. These are probably not cost effective for everyday use, but more of an "event" thing like going to a water park or the beach.
Edit: Yep, Kickstarter backers are getting a "10 pack" for a 30EU backer's fee. I wonder if "10 pack" means ten total for five uses, or "10 pairs". Sounds like one application will last all day though, so good to have handy for occasional use.

I'd trust an .exe in my spam folder attached to a p3n!s enlarger email before anything that waste of molecules shills.
