Energy Sec. Rick Perry: Its So Inappropriate to Brand Climate Skeptics as Neanderthals

We still don’t know if President Donald Trump thinks climate change is a hoax perpetuated by the Chinese, as he’s stated over the years on Twitter. But his Energy Secretary is now on record as saying continued skepticism is warranted.

It has very little to do with "energy" (powering of things)... with some minor efforts in renewables (NREL) and in nuclear power (very little).

It has EVERYTHING to do with nuclear weapons.

As for Hubbert's Peak Oil... yeah, we fracked the hell out of the earth and delayed peak oil (and, more importantly, peak natural gas). But the theory is still valid. There is only so much "ancient sunlight" trapped in the surface of the planet. It will run out. Probably NOT before our race goes extinct or nearly so from burning all of that trapped ancient sunlight. The planet will survive... but many species alive today (and, sadly, yesterday) will not.

It buys scientists and politicians to further and ensure it's agenda. These kind of media interviews are just more pretend politics-as in-let's pretend there's a real debate on climate change happening here that has nothing to do with enormous sums of money coming from one side.
