BTW, this is from someone who happens to strongly believe the Democratic Party lost it's way somewhere along the line long ago -- seems after the disastrous McGovern candidacy --and needs to (1) return to support for labor, leveling the playing field FOR ALL as its fundamental core value/message, and (2) fight fire with fire for a change.

Pelosi isn't and hasn't been perfect ("impeachment is off the table" most notably), but she's definitely a heavyweight fighter and deserves our continued support and gratitude.

This stuff about her being toxic is "knee-jerk" reactionary. ANY STRONG DEMOCRATIC LEADER IS GOING TO BE VILIFIED INTERMINABLY BY THE RIGHT. People need to gain some perspective. All Democratic leaders can't be toxic for crying out loud!
