Trump is not very likely going to try firing Mueller. Hoyt Jun 2017 #3
Only problem f he won outright. Once it went to runoff very unlikely. The reason he did well in the still_one Jun 2017 #4

k/r [Did I do that right?]

There's absolutely nothing Trump can do, no low that he can sink to, that would make these congressional monsters turn on him.

I think the more likely scenario is that if (when) they decide he's hurting their chances for reelection, they'll come up with a medical excuse to get him (or force him) to resign. That way their poll numbers don't suffer.

When they have gerrymandering, voter-suppression & their new buddies the ruskies "helping" them to stay in power? They control the national government and everything about our voting processes from registration to vote tallying/counting. You think they'll be giving that up soon or easily?

thuglicans own every card in the deck, and Dems don't even have a deck.

Trump's reign, but it would surely bring him one step closer to the critical mass needed to turn his supporters in Congress against him. By "supporters" I mean Republicans who disapprove of Trump but are too cowardly to come out against him, or too focused on the Republican "agenda" to risk losing this chance to undo the New Deal once and for all.
