(10,495 posts)pushing a book. The exchange is hilarious! Also, about how he was given a teaching position at Harvard and was able to use the students in his class as free researchers to uncover every lie Billo had ever told. The truth can be funnier than fiction!

(43,197 posts)He makes a great point about Chuck Schumer. Schumer is really hitting stride,
he has great political judgment about what will fly, what won't, and is a master
of strategy, perhaps exceeding his predecessor, in the same way that Nancy
Pelosi has a great nose for political winds. We Democrats are lucky to have both
of them as Congressional leaders.

(205,552 posts)He won overwhelmingly, yet again, back in November. I made a point of reminding people to get out and vote for him, just assumed he'd be the next Majority Leader. *sigh* As senior senator/Minority Leader, he's really stepping up to the plate - we are very fortunate to have both him and Nancy Pelosi, leaders with experience!
