What an ordeal he went through! Prison breaks people.He was released from prison Feb 8, 2017. He had a gag order keeping him silent until the day of this interview, August 9, 2017.

He is now 71 years and said he plans on working to get some specific federal laws passed that will help correct the abhorrent injustices he witnessed of many in prison and to prevent what happened to him. He has special plans, but it has to wait until he is allowed to travel outside of Alabama.

It looks like AG Jeff Sessions was in on some of this ordeal with Siegelman. There is a lot of corruption in our government.

(2,856 posts)He was railroaded, plain and simple by rotten-to-the-core republicans. Thanks so much for the post. I hope everyone involved in destroying this man's career and life gets what should be coming to them.
These days one can easily sum up the political parties standards:
Democratic - mostly scrupulous.
Republican - mostly unscrupulous.
