Vandals Destroy "History." Believe Me, There Were Some Beautiful People From Tikrit

...that simply didn't want to see their beautiful statue come down.

Trump was quoted as saying:

"I mean, if you're going to pull down all the statues of guys with mustaches, where's it going to end? Saddam had a mustache, so did Teddy Roosevelt. So did Mahatma Gandhi. Do you like Gandhi? Well he had a mustache. Why does the Alt-Left hate people with mustaches?"

We all know this was a big, staged photo-op, but I seem to remember Fux News making a huge fuss over the Iraqi people finally pulling down the statue of their OPPRESSOR. Ironically, these days Fux News is spending all their time telling us that it's bad to 'erase history,' and that it's better to leave these statues up. Everybody from Laura Ingram to Fucker Carlson is currently parroting this line.

So, maybe they should have left it UP? As a HISTORY lesson?



And YES...believe it or not, Tucker Carlson actually did make the following ridiculous syllogism on his pathetic show:

The 'left' hates the Confederate leaders
The Confederate leaders had slaves
The founding fathers also had slaves
ERGO
The left hates the Constitution that the founding fathers wrote.

Seriously, that's what he did. It would be laughable if not for the fact that his entire audience probably saw no flaw in this logic.

Well, how about this one, Tucker? It's not even a syllogism. No logic is necessary.

The Confederate leaders TORE UP the United States Constitution, because it said "all men are created equal," and wrote ANOTHER ONE that said white men are superior to black men, and thus enslaving them is the natural order."

You don't have to make any half-assed leaps in logic to get from the Confederates to disrespect for the American Constitution. THEY DID IT, and they SAID so!



HEY TRUMP, even your pals in RUSSIA have removed the statues of Stalin and Lenin. And let's not even start on the Ukrainians. They pulled those statues of Lenin down faster than you pulled down Marla Maples' knickers when Ivana wasn't looking.
