Are you wondering why those Confederate statues crumple like cheap plastic?




Video synopsis: Instead of installing expensive marble or granite statues, a hollow bronze cast could be acquired for a few hundred dollars and some towns were financially assisted by the "United Daughters of the Confederacy" to install them during the Jim Crow era, and the Civil rights era. They are not period Civil War monument installations; they are affirmations against equal rights for PoC and integration.
