Why didn't the Democratic Senators join them? Give these brave protesters support, protection for a few minutes? Aren't they all on the same team against this monstrous Republican Bill?

What am I missing here?..

And they are only protesting their right to exist with dignity, the liberty they're protesting to keep.. Apparently this cruel bill forces them into state homes (institutions) & removes funds for home healthcare that allowed them to live with their families and community. You'd think in the "finance committee" this forced institionalization, far more expensive per capita than home healthcare, might be considered not just sadistic but addressed how idiotically more expensive this bullshit plan is than the status quo.

(I'm sure the Hedge Funders and private prison Corps are salivating at all the money they can make from this forced institionalization.)

I'm just having one of thiose "Mondo Cane"moments...why didn't the Democratic Senators turn the turtle around?
All have been pleading non stop for people to protest. Yet when the most frail & vulnerable show up, these Democrats would not come down from their dias and physically support,.protect them.

I'd like to know why he sat up there as the disabled were grabbed by their armpits, and dragged out of their wheelchairs and along the ground like a sack of trash, instead of being put on a gurney?

If, for no other reason than medical.

I also noticed that he was one of several that were smiling and laughing about something although he didn't have a smirk on his face most of the time like most of the reTHUGliCONS did.
