They'd brand him as un-American, a "leftist", a communist sympathizer, a drug addled fool, and many of the other choice descriptions they give to people they don't understand. Carlin wouldn't stand for it though. He'd give it back to them just as good or better than they gave it to him. He was no weak-kneed liberal.

(19,204 posts)when they "branded" American patriotism and claimed it as their own. Now they won't let anyone else claim to be a "real American" without paying royalty fees.
