Drones for peace

Last edited Fri Aug 3, 2012, 06:04 PM - Edit history (2)

While we are aware of scary implications of having unmanned drones hover in our skies, could it be possible to use drones to enhance our freedom of speech? That's exactly what a company called Rotary Robotics wants to do. Their plan is to build mini-drones that weigh in at just one pound so reporters can fly them overcrowds to get a bird's eye view of what's going on the ground.

To speak more about these drones one of the founders of Rotary Robotics, James Peveril, joins RT's Liz Wahl.
