The first 15 seasons of The Simpsons are incredibly good.

Written mostly by Harvard grads they had fantastic observations about life in America.

BTW - the two women on the tandem bike are Homer's sisters-in-law and the guy on the mower is Ned Flanders - Homer's goody two shoes super Christian (he eats kosher also, just in case) neighbor.

It's been almost exactly 20 years since this aired in the series' ninth season. Swartzwelder was the most prolific writer on the series.

16 years ago the writers imagined president trump. That was as weird as they could get and it came true:



The Simpson writers actually apologized for trump.

Watched this years ago and it’s become a catchphrase with friends and family whenever the subject of guns comes up - “but I’m mad NOW!” Wish that was funny.
