(4,341 posts)And Assange proved to be a sleazy character...he didn't answer anything, and Amy did not grill him. When he said "I am getting annoyed", Amy should have said "So am I because you don't give any straight answers"

(2,070 posts)Look at his shifty eyes, glancing furtively this way and that. Look at him nervously drinking from his coffee mug. He probably has, or had, an internal moral compass, but has long since chosen to abandon it or ignore it. But it's still there, as this interview clearly shows. He has just rationalized things, projecting blame onto "those silly Americans", or whatever.
Roger Stone, like Trump, is someone without any moral compass whatsoever. He is definitely a political dirty trickster who believes in winning at all costs - no matter what the cost to our country is.
Shame on Julian Assange and all the damage he has done to our country, and how he helped political criminals like Trump and Stone steal the 2016 election! Shame on our terminally ill and corrupt political culture, which allows morally worthless and destructive vermin like Trump and Stone to exist and operate freely!
In her excellent book, What Happened, Hillary Clinton nails it right on the head when she talks about our country's political immune system. She says that the overall health and immunity of our body politic has been steadily declining for a long time, long before Trump, the Russians or Roger Stone hit the scene. Trump, the Russians, and Roger Stone can be seen as opportunistic infections on our body politic who can only gain a foothold and come to a position of prominence and power once we no longer have the political immunity to fend them off.
I firmly believe that all radiant health and optimum immunity of our national body politic begins with EDUCATION. In addition to teaching US History and Civics in our schools, we should also teach a course entitled Introduction to Philosophy, Logic and Critical Thinking. That would make us less vulnerable as a nation to the bogus and red herring arguments of demagogues like Donald Trump and the political advisers / scoundrels who aid and abet them.
The Wielding Truth
(11,415 posts)trusted, although he may be tied up in this. Julian Assange is a bit of a rat for exposing the stolen select material how and when he did, and I don't trust his motives but on Stone, it seems to ring true that they had no relationship. I hope that Mauler keeps at this and reveals all of the truth.

(4,976 posts)Anyone who sits there and denies trump's russian interests is trying to fool us. Good luck Julian. I hope Russia's payback will be enough for you to justify their part in ruining our country and system of government. What an A-hole.
