But he probably is. Ninety-five percent of pro golfers are. Especially the ones from Texas.

Still a good kid, though.

that Jordan is a Republican. Most Professional Golfers are. They grew up with parents who are well off, or they couldn't afford the travel, lessons, or equipment necessary to compete at the highest levels. I'm hoping Jordan's experience with President Obama opened his eyes a bit. Imagine if the played with Trump? 3-4 hours of hearing Trump talk about himself, and about how if HE were a Professional Golfer (and he could have been you know, the greatest golfer EVER ) how much _ussy he'd be grabbing, because women flock to those young, good looking golfers)

Alas and alack, although the vast majority of these Professionals are Republicans, they LOVE playing with Liberals. The Pebble Beach Pro-Am is one of the golfers favorite tournaments every year. They're paired up with Hollywood's golfers (some of who are very good) and play the first three rounds of golf with their partner. Hilarity ensues, and they have the time of their lives. Now compare that to having to play a Corporate event with stodgy old Republicans, moneyed men who try to impress with their gold plated clubs, Cuban Cigars, and Napoleon Brandy.

The PGA is trying to rectify this situation with a program called, 'The First Tee'. Under-privileged kids get equipment, lessons, and play for free in an effort to make golfing more accessible to all demographics. Or maybe they're trying to recruit more Republicans, who knows but it does get a lot of kids, who normally wouldn't have a chance to play the game, out on golf courses to learn the life's lessons golf supposedly teaches.

i.e. before the Limpbaugh era.

Though there were some hard-right crackpots (mostly your anti-Semites), the majority were conservative but decent. In general it was hard not to like them, really.

Not so once hate radio and Faux News took hold - especially after their failed impeachment of Bill Clinton.

A kind edgy ugliness set in, a lot like the ethnic hatred one sees in some third-world countries. As seething as it is irrational.

Good on Jordan Speith. Wish we had more public figures like him.

hollering at his caddy a couple of time because Jordan thought he should use a different club for some shot. Oh ya, he's a privileged rich kid. Ugh.....

President Obama didn't beat him alone. They were playing team golf, so he had a partner, as did Spieth. However, I'd be willing to bet everything I own that President Obama could beat the pants off Trump. (although that visual scares the bejesus out of me! )

a craving for a Bratwurst, thanks a lot!

"Brainless Trump" is an oxymoron, like "Army Intelligence" or "Jumbo Shrimp".
