Since Kushner is Jewish, "tentacles are everywhere" sounds like anti-Semitic clichés.

and her premarital name was herschfeld. so not 100% sure she's jewish but a pretty good guess.

so i doubt it was intended as anti-semitic, even if it is unfortunate.

While I doubt any serious offense was meant, it is obvious anti-Semitism and Jews are unimportant to most people. People specifically, and at times with great acrobatics, avoid certain terminology, phrases, and words when dealing with other minority groups, but when it comes to Jews..."meh".
