I seriously doubt that society emerges from this current death spiral without a massive nuclear exchange in multiple areas (India-Pakistan for one, North Korea for two, which will mean massive fallout in South Korea and China and potential retaliation against these very 'United' States.

Happy Thanksgiving....it may just be the last for all of us...

Both the father and son lived troubled lives. They remind me of Libertarian Barry Goldwater. Sad tales, like the slaughter of native Americans who saved European invaders. My father's and mother's family had a real disdain for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's taken a lifetime to understand why.

I was going to look for this tomorrow, but........here it is!

I look forward to listening to Mr. Burroughs', 'A Thanksgiving Prayer' each year. This and Arlo Guthrie's 'Alice's Restaurant' are standard listening for me each Thanksgiving. Talk about polar opposites, huh?

I was always a fan of William Burroughs. No special reason, just the total, stark reality of his work. He certainly didn't sugar-coat anything.

Thanks again, and Happy Thanksgiving.
