until that big mean alt-right monster came along and put a stink on all those perfectly reasonable and legitimate divisive lies.


there was nothing remotely anti-semitic about looking down and sneering about "coastal elites" or "goldman sachs" or "the liberal media".

it only turned into something bad when those very fine people over there, not us, them, they said something bad about the jews.

that certain words used at Fox were used in a different context by white supremacists.
But generally, Fox loved to use dog whistles, of course.
But her comment shouldn't be the relevant part of that interview. I think it is way more important to listen to the explanations of how hate groups used means to seem less radical for the average person and even the average racist and how crucial it is to realize that the alt-right and white nationalists shouldn't be seen as two separate groups. There is clearly much overlapping between the groups and it would be a danger not to see that.
