Nothing - NOTHING - is more important that the next election.

They will turn on the Orange One when they become convinced that continuing to support him will be more dangerous to their re-election prospects than turning on him. I have long suspected that the turning point will be between the primary and general election. During primary season, the Repugnants will be too afraid of the base to turn on the Orange One. After the primary, they will be too concerned about the more general electorate not to do so.
