But wait...didn’t Pacific Command put out the actual alert? Isn’t Pacific Command part of the US Armed Forces? Aren’t the US Armed Forces part of the Federal government? Isn’t the President part of the Federal government? Isn’t the President the Commander In Chief?
If the Federal government didn’t give the first warning, Hawaiian state officials wouldn’t even have been involved, I don’t get it.
