I'm with Noah on the white people vacations. I'm white, but no way am I bungee jumping, camping, doing extreme sports, or gawking at poor people in Bali (although for privileged Americans it's a good lesson to see that money isn't everything). I prefer inside. Waking up in the morning alive is exciting enough. Speaking of Bali, I bought the book "Eat, Pray, Love" when it was a bestseller and although the "eat" part was okay, near the end I hated it so much I wanted to burn it. I can't imagine being so bored with life that you need to go and bother people in other countries with your problems.

I usually watch The Daily Show, but forgot he'd been a guest until I ran across it in my travels - and I usually watch Colbert. And I certainly agree, am fine with a boat ride, but really don't get extreme sports. I'm not a fan of heights, will travel by plane if I really want to get somewhere, but there's no way I'm intentionally jumping off a bridge! Life is stressful enough these days without going out of your way to look for it.

I love Trevor Noah. If you read where he came from, how he grew up, he's absolutely remarkable. He's a tribute to humanity, just that. Did you catch that click in his accent talking about his mother's language? He's a master of language and accents.

He really "gets" the politics which is pretty amazing since too few Americans do and he's only been here since 2011! And he's also multi talented. I caught one of his stand up specials and he does voices and impersonations, he really can do it all, wish he got the chance to do more of that on The Daily Show. But when it came to a new host, I don't think they could have chosen better.

So he can get away with saying things - politics wise - that not everyone could.

And I once had the pleasure of seeing Jon Stewart in person - was in his studio audience back in 2008. But I definitely can't see Trevor getting into "feuds" with anyone, LOL. He is impossible not to like!

It was more like his stand up, stood there with a mike, and had various segments using the regulars on his show. Now, he's using the same format that Jon Stewart used, but I'd like to see him do more with the formats that showcase his various talents. He is definitely more than just a comedian, though he's certainly very funny!

He really was a brilliant choice for host of The Daily Show after Jon - and he was a tough act to follow. He's also extremely likeable besides being so talented!
