Even when stars return to small venues it's hard for all fans to return . I just tried to get tickets on a presale as fan member for Jack White exclusive before general tickets went on sale next week
He is playing a small venue in a Milwaukee ballroom & I'm in Chicago so doable. They went on sale @10 am . So all ready and the clock said 10. First time I clicked it said not open yet opens at 10 am . Clicked again ....sold out

I'd be STOKED to pay $60 to sit and watch him play and sing all by himself for a couple hours ... you would be quite lucky to get to go ... jelly ...

He's an excellent guitarist in his own right and most of his songs I'm quite certain stand up beautifully to single guitar/voice treatment. Hell a lot of 'em already are pretty close to that on the album anyway.

BTW don't waste your time trying to figure out what make/model of axe that is in the slide solo ... Amanda had it made for him custom ... has like a steel guitar pickup in it and all this other special shit going on like that wacky box over the strings ... tone is just crazy badass ...

It's funny one time I saw a youtube comment on a vid where he was playing solo version of I think it was 'last of my kind' and dude's bagging on him saying his words are cool but his music is like Guitar 101 ... anyone could learn to play this like 6 months after picking up a guitar and I was just like ... dude, you're friggin' HIGH if you think ANYONE could get to JB's level of skill in 6 months. You just don't know who this dude is, your sample size is WAAAY too small. And yeah a person could learn to pluck out that particular song on the guitar 6 months in, but to play AND sing it, PERFECTLY like he does in the vid he's doing it in? You're WAY wrong. Or ... if you can do this 6 months from when you picked up a guitar and started singing into a mike ... you're a hell of a prodigy.

And my lucky day sort of .... turns out the Jack White ticket site I was complaining about was hacked by bots that took all the tickets set aside for fans on the entire tour in secs

so third man records got Ticketmaster to open up another slot before general admission tickets go on sale and we all have single codes so can't be hacked again . That had to be a lot of work on their end scrambling in hours after ticket presale opened up!
. So that was another good email. Screw that nigerian prince dude trying give me his money in an email . I got a lot of music gold without him in my email box tonight

I feel sorry for White who was trying to do this for true fans and then to get it all messed up .
They have set out numerous apologies and couldn't have tried to clean up the mess better

The bot took all the tickets in almost every city on tour that were to be set aside . I am amazed that instead of just saying what can we do third man records worked all day to figure out how to right it
