The current policy of CIA aid to the Syrian rebels is the best course. Time is on their side. It's more complicated than Libya, but the basic equation is the same--dumping Assad needs to be the work of the Syrian people. The only role the outside world should play is putting pressure on the victorious rebels to not go psycho on Assad's supporters in the aftermath.
