really is racist? Sometimes people need a whack upside the head to see what's really going on, and maybe this is it for Steele?

like that woman Dana who has her own msnbc show weekday afternoons.

We've experienced racism in our personal circle of friends recently when our black friend was introducing his white girlfriend. It was awful...I can never think the way I used to about these people.

but that this guy’s (Ian Walters) comments were racist. He said the party does have a problem to deal with but did not sound ready to face the reality yet IMHO.

What’s strange is that the photos of Ian Walters suggest to me that he also is a person of color. But I guess to be a CPACer requires some very extreme mental gymnastics, so I shouldn’t be surprised.

Here’s more info on his comments:

How do they not get it that most republicans are racist? Same with Latinos, how do they not get it? I mean, they say it out loud that they are racists. For this guy Matt to say "that is not what he meant"...bull...why do people feel that speech must be interpreted? You say exactly what you think, there is no room for interpretation, and if you cannot say exactly what you mean then you should keep you mouth shut.

I always tell my kids that when they have to say something, make sure you don't leave any room for interpretation, tell people exactly what you mean.

This bull politicians like to say "my words were taken out of context"...No, your brain is out of context, your brain is damaged, too much racism, misogyny, bigotry, greed, despise for human beings, etc...and when they open their mouths, that is exactly what comes out.
