Today in Boone, Iowa President Obama shared how the Romney-Ryan economic proposal would raise taxes on middle class families with children in order to pay for tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires.

As President Obama shared:

"They have tried to sell us this trickle down fairy dust before. And it did not work then and it won't work now. It's now a plan to create jobs, it's not a plan to cut the deficit, and it's not a plan to move our economy forward."

President Obama is in Iowa this week to kick-off a three-day bus tour across the state with grassroots events in Council Bluffs and Boone. The President discussed the choice in this election between two fundamentally different visions of how to create an economy built to last and restore middle-class economic security.
