You can beat them over the head with this everyday. They still want to drag this country through that crazy trickle-down economics fallacy. I thought it died during the Clinton Presidency. Think again.
It doesn't matter if those views are true or false, no. it is their truth. It doesn't matter if their views are crazy or off, their truth, is their truth. And guess what? That is all that matters.
Say you are talking to A Right Wing person who is middle income, but striving to meet the costs of life. He/she has 3 children and even with two incomes, it is hard to raise the family. so ....................You try to teach them a little.
Now......if their minds are open some, or a little, your person might listen and learn....maybe change a view or two....
But most of them, have totally closed minds ..Their truth is their truth. They know their truth, and the best you can do with one of those, is to walk away. Yes, if their minds are totally closed, walk away and save your mind. If by some chance they are open, (some are open a little) then give it a shot. But totally closed minds are a waste of time. Total waste of time.. Go have a burger at your favorite burger joint.
