A resignation would only leave Dense Pense in power, and would allow the GOP - and much of Big Media - to claim that a new leaf has been turned or some such nonsense.

Analysis paralysis. People tend to find themselves unable to do anything at all.

Boy. What a corner they've painted themselves into, with all that orange paint.

They deserve every bit of it, with all the harm they've caused the nation since 2000.

But in a way, worse because he knows how to "appear" sane and professional - at least to the untrained eyes of most of our Big Media (Rachel Maddow excluded).

If Trump is taken out of office by any means, and Pence becomes president that is a bigger problems because I believe that Pence shares all the ignorant ideas that Trump and the GOP do, and the fact that he will be viewed as an adult, as a cool collected person makes it easier for the GOP to continue the destruction they have enjoyed with Trump as president.

Unless Muller can take out Pence and Ryan as well, I would rather wait for the GOP to loose the house and senate in November, to make sure he becomes a lame duck, and for Trump to loose reelection on 2020, although I am convinced that if he makes it that far, that he will not seek reelection, some other republican will, which again makes things complicated for any democratic candidate. Lets face it, we are all dealing with fanatics, republicans are fanatics, they will vote for people who harm them just because they are republican.

I would pardon everyone including the Vice President, fire everyone associated with the investigation, and get a pardon for myself written out by Pence with only the date needed to be filled in.
