A movie about terrorism I would like to recommend.

German movie from 2008. The trailer is cherrypicking a little bit.

The Baader-Meinhof-group was a bunch of leftist radicals in 1970s Germany who wanted to fight imperialism, authoritarianism, the police-state and warmongering.
They wanted to incite a revolution.
And for this they wanted to show the people that resistance is possible.
And for this they turned to full-on terrorism.

I think this movie is interesting because they lose themselves in this war they have kicked off, in their fanaticism, in their mutual echo-chamber.

Things spiral out of control.

They get more and more brutal, they sacrifice more and more... and yet somehow the revolution isn't happening.

After the hundreds of people they have killed, after all the dear friends they have lost in shootouts with the police, somehow the revolution still isn't happening.
