The cable infotainment news is peppered with this or that could happen. It is all about CYA, filling air time with endless drivel, spreading fear and selling advertising.
I find more than 10 minutes a day to be simply a waste of my time.

The biggest question is how do you raise taxes during the next downturn, when economic activity has slowed, interest rates (and the cost of the debt) has risen, and tax revenues have fallen, and unemployment rates are 3x what they are now?
