What’s of great concern here, is an easily missed “recommendation” on page 19/253: “Congress should consider repealing the #LoganAct.”

The #LoganAct of 1799 states it’s a crime for a US citizen, w/out authority from the fed govt to communicate w/foreign officials to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign govt in a dispute with the US or to defeat the measures of the US.

In other words, under the #LoganAct, United States citizens do not have the right to aid a foreign entity that is adverse to the United States’ interests. It is a felony.

The @HouseIntelComm under @DevinNunes recommends repealing this.
