(28,349 posts)They only count what they can document. I'd hate to know what that count truly is.
He lies bigly. Believe me.
If we knew all of the lies he tells in private conversations--away from cameras and ego rally crowds--that number would skyrocket. It never ceases to amaze me why anyone would want a chronic liar (only one of his many flaws) as a leader. Of course, many of his followers drink the Kool-Aid and switch off their critical thinking skills (provided they had any in the first place), but Trump isn't even an artful liar. He contradicts himself all the time, and many of his lies are easily disproven. Once you realize that, why would you believe anything he said?

(32,748 posts)Tony Schwartz who has been posted on DU frequently, tells about how "The Art of the Deal" was a complete fabrication. Not a single word of that book was written by Donald Trump. Schwartz (credited as the book's co-writer) wrote every word with very little input from Trump.

"Donald Trump's Ghostwriter Tells All" reposted from The New Yorker article of July 25, 2016
Tony Schwartz signed a 25-year NDA when he wrote the book. The NDA expired a few months before the election, and Schwartz didn't waste any time telling people the truth about the lying orange asshole. Many personal details and asides given in this article, it's rather interesting and insightful.

Either way, it is quite a milestone, and a true testament to his character.

Well done, dRumpfenfuhrer.
Who says he's a lazy fat ass that never works or puts any effort in? This is quite an exhausting pace he's maintained for over a year.
